About the role

12 Buckets is seeking Volunteer Mentors to donate 1 hour of their time, once a week.

We support the social and emotional well-being of school aged young people. We have rooms at Balga Primary, North Balga Primary , Waddington Primary, Koondoola Primary, Boyare Primary and Balga Senior Highschool.

As a mentor you will be placed at a school in a time slot during school hours to connect with the young people. You will engage in a range of activities from art and craft, to sport, to cooking, board games and more (depending on the likes of the young people in the session)

You will require a working with children card, department of education clearance and police clearance. We will assist you in obtaining these.

Organisation name : 12 Buckets

12 Buckets is a small not-for-profit organization located in the northern suburbs of Perth. 

Our volunteer mentors help to strengthen confidence and connection in young people from diverse backgrounds. It allows them to take a break, to focus on themselves and ignite their "spark".

The power of connection and accompaniment for young person who may be facing certain life difficulties, cannot be underestimated. 

Anyone can be a mentor. All it takes it 1 hour, once a week.
